Pamela Blackwell
Co-Chief Executive Officer
As the co-chief executive officer of Blackwell Consulting Services, Pamela Blackwell is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the business and overall leadership of the company. Pamela has a proven executive management track record and over 20 years of experience in information technology services. She began her career with Blackwell Consulting Services in 1994.
Prior to being named co-chief executive officer, Pamela served as president and was directly responsible for the financial stability and administration of the company. During her tenure she has helped to grow the firm?s revenues from $6 million to $43 million while building the workforce from a team of 30 to nearly 300 professionals.
Pamela is keenly familiar with the entire consulting landscape. Her career at Blackwell has incorporated many facets of the consulting and IT industry. Her earlier leadership roles ranged from vice president of human resources to chief financial officer. She has also served as employment and recruitment manager, sales proposal manager, training coordinator and senior consultant. Pamela is known for her leadership skills and keen business knowledge and she draws upon her many experiences at Blackwell to expand the vision and goals of the business.
Prior to joining Blackwell, Pamela spent three years with IBM where she held various positions, including systems engineer, education specialist and marketing assistant. She began her career at United Airlines.
Education and Associations
Pamela holds a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University and is a graduate of the Kellogg Management Institute program at Northwestern University. Pamela is on the board at many non-profit organizations including Red Cross of Greater Chicago, Christopher House and Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA). She is also a member of The Committee of 200, Economic Club of Chicago and Young Presidents Organization.
